We feel your pain. You spend hours and hours on your communications, working around the clock to stay on top of your game. As soon as you clear your inbox it takes minutes for it to start filling up again. Day and night, in and out, you feel like you are drowning in messages and information. Sometimes, you even dread opening your email simply because you are unsure what to expect. You look around you only to see people writing email after email -all day and all night- making you wonder why you are not equally busy or important. We know exactly how you feel.
As a group of former corporate executives, we founded Knowmail to liberate individuals like you from the current communication paradigm. Just like you, we caught ourselves constantly needing to check our communications, both in and out of the office, losing time and energy as we watched our work/life balance collapse.
Western corporate culture has fallen ill with what we believe can be appropriately considered a quantity rather than quality value system. The corporate world has convinced employees that the best way to show their productivity is by engaging in an enormous amount of communications. Considering the aforementioned, when employees feel that the only way they can prove they are making an impact is by maximizing the amount of emails they send, is it such a surprise that you spend an inordinate amount time simply working through your inbox?
Here at Knowmail, we want you to return to objective-oriented, quality based work where you can prove your impact through concrete achievements rather than raw email counts. We want to help you gain the time you need to fulfill your goals both in and out of the workplace.
As individuals who have lived through it, excessive communication is a problem we are passionate to solve and discuss. We are constantly researching the problem; working together with leading authorities on information overload in order to best tailor our product to serve the modern corporate employee’s communication needs. We are thrilled you have visited our blog and are very excited for the lineup of upcoming blogs we intend to post. We simply have so much to say! We promise that this will not be just another group of recommendations for best practices. Trust us, with at least 360 best practice guides, we know you do not need another one. This blog contains our thoughts and opinions about a real problem that has forced us to lose countless hours a year and possibly costs you the same.
We look forward to having you here again!
