Installation
How to activate Knowmail for Mobile? +

Once you’ve downloaded the app from iTunes or Google Play, open it and log in using your Office 365 (O365) or Gmail account. Once logged in, Knowmail will begin to learn your habits and notify you once urgent emails arrive.

Urgent emails on mobile +

Knowmail for mobile will display your urgent (or highly important) emails in the app and will notify you once they arrive based on your notification settings in the app.

If an email displayed isn’t ‘urgent’, please tap the “Tap if this isn’t urgent” note on the bottom of the respective email, granting additional feedback to improve your personalized prediction model.

Within the mobile application, emails are displayed as slim cards to allow quick navigation and attention. You may expand any specific email by clicking on it, which then opens it in a wider view.

Mobile notification preferences +

Knowmail provides a variety of notification options to choose from: “All urgent emails”; “Once an hour”; Once every 3 hours”; and “None”.

To select your preference, go to the profile section by clicking the avatar icon on the top right-hand side, select your choice, and a check mark will appear for that selection.

Workweek schedule +

Knowmail grants the option to select your workweek schedule within the app: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday (default).

To change, go to the profile section by clicking the avatar icon on top right-hand side, scroll to the Workdays section and make your selection.

Quick reply and more +

For each email displayed in Knowmail, you have the option to Reply, Reply All (if applicable), or Forward. Simply tap your choice and begin adding your text in the (now) provided area.

If you wish to add/edit/remove recipients, once you’ve selected to reply (or the others) click the email address displayed in the reply area and follow the prompt to either “Edit Recipients” or “Forward”.

Tap the ‘arrow’ icon to send the email out.

Undo on mobile +

After any action taken within the app, there is a short (10-second) window where you may Undo the action by clicking so in the displayed option after the action was done.

Done on mobile +

Clicking Done marks an email complete and removes it from view but does NOT delete it.

To mark an email as “Done”, click the checkmark/circle icon on top of any respective email.

Additional features/option navigation +

Knowmail’s email productivity solution grants a number of productivity features allowing you to complete tasks and messages quickly and efficiently. The features are listed individually below, and are available by clicking the 3 horizontal dots ‘options’ for any respective email.

Move on mobile +

Knowmail predicts the folder an email should be moved to, and you can make the move by navigating to the message ‘options’ menu by clicking the 3 horizontal dots on the respective email.

In the menu, 3 predicted folders will be recommended for the specific email, and a quick tap on one will quickly move that email to the selected folder.

If none of the folders listed are a fit, you may select another of your choice by clicking the “search” icon by the “Move to folder” option, and either scroll to the folder of your choice, or start typing its name within the allotted search bar.

Later on mobile +

You may defer an email to a later, more appropriate, time. The message will then be removed from your view and return at the time you selected (along with a note that it is “Returned email”).

To snooze a message, begin by clicking the message ‘options’ (3 horizontal dots on the respective message), and selecting your choice from those displayed in the “Snooze for later’ area.

Mobile reminder +

You may set a reminder to any specific email by navigating to the message ‘options’ (3 horizontal dots on the respective message), selecting to “Set a reminder”, at which point you may select the calendar/task app of your choice.

Mute on mobile +

You may Mute yourself from a conversation, so it doesn’t distract or return to your view unless you’re specified by name within the body of the email. Note: message/s is/are NOT deleted.

To mute a message, click the message ‘options’ (3 horizontal dots on the respective message), and tap “Mute conversation”.

Knowmail doesn’t delete any emails unless you make the specific action/selection, which is found within the ‘message options’ (3 dots on respective message).

Troubleshooting
I’m not receiving any mobile notifications +

In the case you have urgent emails arriving, but no notifications are provided, please visit the profile screen and follow the steps below. In case none of these assist, please send us an email through the “Send Feedback” option in the profile page or support@knowmail.me, so we can check the issue out.

  • Check if notifications are turned off and select your preference

  • Toggle notifications preferences: on rare occasions, a glitch deprives notifications being pushed even though they’re turned on. In such cases, select a different notification frequency, and then switch back to your preference.

Sending feedback on mobile +

If you’re encountering a bug or error, have a feature idea for improvement, or want to drop a line for any reason, we want to listen and help.

You may send feedback through the app by navigating to the profile screen and selecting to “Send feedback”, which will compose an email to us. Of course, you can also write directly to support@knowmail.me if you prefer.

For any issues or bugs you’re experiencing, any details and screenshots to clarify your experience will aid us in solving the issue quickly.

I haven’t been receiving any emails in the app +

In the rare case you’re connected, emails are arriving, yet you haven’t been receiving them in the app…please try to sign out, and re-log back in. If this did not solve the issue, please email us or use the “Send feedback” option in the profile screen.
